Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, developing individualized therapeutic strategies accordingly.

• Provide evidence-based therapies to diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, families, and support groups.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to cater to each client’s specific therapeutic journey.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive client care and a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all client interactions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions, keeping abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health.

Our client base is diverse, with individuals ranging from children to seniors, who present a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. The LPC will assist clients in navigating their challenges and achieving their personal goals, while fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Expertise or specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly valued.
