Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our growing sales team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate quotations, communicating with manufacturers and vendors, assisting Account Managers, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has the ability to interpret technical information while managing multiple priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations for building automation, HVAC controls, and related equipment.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify products and solutions.
• Work closely with Account Mangers to develop competitive proposals.
• Coordinate pricing, availability, and lead times with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Process customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
• Follow up on quotations and maintain communication with customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM system.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professionalism and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.

 

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, estimating, customer service, or quotation experience (industrial, HVAC, controls, electrical, mechanical, or construction industry preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, or construction documents is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRM software preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

• Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• HVAC Controls
• Commercial HVAC Equipment
• Mechanical or Electrical Systems
• Construction Estimating
• Technical Sales Support
• Schneider Electric or similar building automation products (a plus, but not required)
