The Technical Director is responsible for establishing, implementing and enforcing all technical policies related to the sale, use and installation of Insulationproducts and systems. By balancing sales potential and opportunities against associated potential risks, the Technical Directorhelps ensure the Insulation Division’s long-term, sustainable growth. As a member of Insulation’s Management Team,the Technical Directorassists in the development and execution of the business unit’s strategy.Lead and manage the TechnicalServicesDepartment staff, including succession planning.Establish and maintaina cultureof teamworkand effective communication within the Technical Department, and with all other departments within the company. Makewell-informeddecisions to support the growth andoverall health of the Insulationbusiness.Approve(or deny) all requests for non-standard use or application of company products (e.g., Special Warranty Requests). Establish credibility as an expert in the field (industry advocacy, active participation in work groups, presentations, articles/papers, etc.).Lead R&D efforts to bring new solutions to the market to increase sales and protect against threats in the industry.QualificationsThe candidate must have excellent supervisory, communication, organizational and writing skills, knowledge of the insulation industry, and be willing to travel.
