Senior Configuration Data Management Analyst

We’re Looking For Senior Configuration and Data Management Analyst to lead configuration and data management activities across the organization, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance. What You’ll Do Work independently to provide configuration/data management support per CDM policy and procedures. Help develop the Configuration and Data Management Policy, Procedures, Plans, Work Instructions and customer DRLs. Manage all configuration management and data management activities, aligning with organizational goals, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement policies, processes and standards to track and control configuration items and data across the organization. Maintain configuration management tools, ensuring data is complete, compliant and version‑controlled. Lead configuration control processes, including change requests, change boards, versioning and impact analysis. Own customer‑facing deliverables, define schedules and manage delivery to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness. Facilitate configuration control boards and document and track changes. Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation and tool enhancement to increase efficiency. Guide and mentor junior analysts, share best practices and conduct internal training. Integrate configuration and data management into broader project lifecycles with IT, engineering, PM and business units. Prepare and present reports and presentations on performance, status, risks and initiatives to senior leadership. Develop and enforce data management policies ensuring secure storage, accessibility and tracking. Lead selection, implementation and optimisation of configuration management tools and data management technologies. Review proposals, contracts, SOWs and agreements for configuration and data management requirements. Understand Export Control Regulation ITAR/EAR and enforce protection of Intellectual Property. Provide additional functional support as assigned to support engineering and program management activities. What You’ll Need to Succeed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 8+ years of configuration or data management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Power BI, Visio). Knowledge of industry standards: MIL‑HDBK‑61A, MIL‑STD‑963C, EIA‑649C, ISO9000, AS9100, DD‑Form 1423, GEIA‑859, DoD 5010.12‑M. Experience with Agile methodologies or work in Agile environments. Acute attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to convey analysis and issues to diverse audiences. Confidence to build relationships with leadership and peers. Analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Proactive, enthusiastic feedback provider and knowledge sharer. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Effective independent and collaborative worker. Things That Would Be Great If You Brought to the Table Active certification in Configuration Management (CMII, ITIL, PMP) or Data Management (CDMP). Active EIA‑649C certification. Experience reading engineering drawings, production specifications and contract documents. SharePoint experience. Expertise in configuration management methodology, tools and processes. Experience with PDM/PLM software or other configuration management tools. Knowledge of ISO, CMMI or similar frameworks. Contract management experience and delivering customer‑facing goods under strict deadlines. Mentoring or leading teams in configuration or data management practices. Agile methodology knowledge or experience. Additional Requirements This is an onsite role with expected in‑office attendance five days per week. Must possess an active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance at hire and maintain it throughout employment. The position supports a U.S. government contract and COMSEC equipment; applicants must be U.S. citizens. Travel up to 10% as needed for program support and collaboration. Work Environment Position primarily office‑based, largely sedentary, requiring use of basic office equipment. The role supports collaboration, relationship‑building and professional growth.
