We are looking for an accounting manager professional for an onsite role here in Morgan Hill, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  
• Lead technical accounting research and implementation for new accounting standards and complex transactions.
  
• Own the fixed asset accounting function, including capitalization policies, depreciation calculations, asset disposals, physical inventory reconciliations, and construction-in-progress projects.
  
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analyses.
  
• Support inventory and cost accounting processes, including inventory reserves, cycle counts, and variance analysis.
  
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  
• Assist with external audits, year-end reporting requirements, and auditor requests.
  
• Develop, document, and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
  
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to leadership.
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance.
  
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience within a manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.
  
• Demonstrated experience managing month-end close processes.
  
• Extensive fixed asset accounting experience, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset reconciliations.
  
• Experience preparing financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
