The Chimney Guys is seeking a full-time Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team in Pataskala, Ohio. This is a high-accountability role focused on growing revenue through pipeline advancement, inside and outside sales, cross-selling, and strategic partnership development while helping turn overlooked opportunities into results.

ARE YOU THE SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST OUR TEAM NEEDS?

• 3+ years of sales or business development experience
n
• Comfort with proactive outbound sales activity
n
• CRM proficiency
n
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and standard computer applications
n
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and conversation
n
• Ability to maintain accurate CRM records, notes, tags, and follow-up activity
n
• Demonstrated pipeline management and closing ability
n
• Strong follow-up, organization, and personal accountability
n
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities while advancing pipeline activity and responding to inbound leads
n
• Ability to build and maintain strategic referral partnerships

WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?

n

This is a full-time , exempt position based primarily in the office, with local travel as needed for business development activities. As a Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will manage assigned unsold estimates and incoming quote requests while advancing opportunities through consistent follow-up and clear documentation of next steps. You will re-engage dormant leads and dismissed Chimney Care Plans, prepare and present second-look estimates when appropriate, and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person sales conversations. Throughout the day, you will identify cross-sell and upgrade opportunities from inspections, service calls, memberships, and production activity while building and maintaining strategic referral partnerships and exploring new revenue channels. You will keep CRM records, notes, tags, and follow-up activities accurate and up to date, monitor pipeline movement and estimate aging, conduct client follow-up and Happy Calls as assigned, and assist with inbound phone coverage when needed. You will also collaborate closely with Sales, Contact Center, Production, Marketing, and Administration teams to support revenue growth and client service.
