Work Environment

This position is fully remote, embracing a flexible work setting that allows you to provide care while managing the rigors of a modern work-life balance. Our team operates primarily from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, giving you the advantage of a work schedule that eliminates evening and weekend hours for a healthier lifestyle. You will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team that values communication, collaboration, and mutual respect in providing comprehensive mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans that address diverse symptoms and conditions.
• Provide one-on-one psychotherapy, counseling, and crisis intervention tailored to each client's unique experiences and challenges.
• Engage in regular consultations with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and effective treatment strategies.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to encourage peer support and shared learning among clients.
• Monitor and maintain client caseloads, actively working to adjust treatment plans as clinical needs evolve.
• Conduct screenings for prescription drug abuse, illicit drug use, and alcohol misuse, utilizing evidence-based screening tools.
• Refer clients with severe mental health issues requiring specialized care or inpatient treatment to appropriate services.
• Navigate documentation processes efficiently, ensuring compliance with mental health policies and the timely upkeep of patient records in our electronic health systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you'll work closely with individuals grappling with mental health disorders and substance use issues, many of whom are in the detox process. You will encounter a variety of cases, from clients in crisis to those seeking long-term management of broader mental health challenges. Your empathetic approach and clinical expertise will guide patients through their recovery journeys, ultimately helping them regain their lives and reach their personal goals.

Qualifications

• Current LCSW licensure in Tennessee and a Master's degree in Social Work or counseling from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency with the ability to effectively evaluate and manage mental health caseloads.
• Proven skills in crisis intervention, alongside mature judgment during high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, for presenting information and engaging with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Experience in culturally competent practices to serve a diverse clientele effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a detox or behavioral health setting, specifically working with substance use disorders.

• Familiarity with maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines for behavioral healthcare.
