Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs, strengths, and goals, followed by the creation of personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy in individual, couples, and family sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to encourage community among patients facing similar challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health disturbances, ensuring their safety and stability.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Document all clinical interactions accurately and comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights to improve patient care practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in mental health treatment by participating in continuous education and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Profound knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated competency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.

• Experience providing therapy to individuals and groups, particularly to diverse populations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, able to foster therapeutic relationships effectively.

• Strong ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality and professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and a robust skill set in digital communication platforms.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
