Pay: $28.00$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

What Youll Do

As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, you will manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple small-business and professional-service clients.

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts.
• Maintain general ledgers and accurately record financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and trust accounts.
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Research discrepancies and review QuickBooks audit trails to maintain data accuracy.
• Use QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online to maintain client records.
• Prepare cost reports and assist with budgeting, job costing, and financial analysis.
• Answer client accounting questions and provide professional support.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable standards.

What We Expect

Required:

• 35 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Minimum 1 year of IOLTA / Professional-Interest-on-Lawyers'-Trust-Accounts (P.I.) law firm experience .
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online .
• Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience managing and reconciling trust accounts.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, research financial activity, and solve accounting issues.
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently.

Preferred:

• Supervisory or management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Accounting firm or bookkeeping-service experience.
• Payroll processing experience.

Work Environment

This is an in-person position based in La Habra, California, with regular travel to client locations throughout Mid-Wilshire/Los Angeles and Orange County .
