Dietary Supervisor – PRN Weekends Facility: Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing Position: Dietary Supervisor Location: Bronx, NY Schedule: PRN (Weekends) Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour Join Our Team Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an experienced and dependable Dietary Supervisor to oversee weekend food service operations in our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to the dietary team, ensure regulatory compliance, and help deliver high-quality nutritional services to our residents. Responsibilities Supervise daily dietary department operations during assigned shifts. Oversee tray line activities to ensure accurate meal service and resident satisfaction. Monitor and maintain food temperature logs in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with sanitation, infection control, and food safety standards. Assist with scheduling and coordination of dietary staff coverage. Support dietary staff and provide guidance to maintain efficient workflow. Ensure therapeutic diets are properly followed and implemented. Utilize Meal Tracker and SigmaCare systems for meal management and documentation. Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' nutritional needs. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dietary Supervisor in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility . Working knowledge of Meal Tracker and SigmaCare required. Understanding of therapeutic and modified diets. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Knowledge of food service regulations and sanitation standards in healthcare settings.
