Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for operating CNC equipment, handling materials, and ensuring accurate production data entry. Your role will require effective communication and participation in team activities, aiming to become a 'go-to' person for accomplishing tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Basic operation of CNC equipment, including loading and unloading materials.

• Stack and unload products according to provided instructions, handling materials as required.

• Develop competency to change inserts within six months of employment.

• Develop competency to make offsets within three months of employment.

• Effectively communicate with co-workers and management.

• Accurately input production quantities into the ERP system.

• Ensure accurate job data entry per MBP MMS requirements.

• Measure parts accurately per inspection requirements using various gaging and metrology equipment.

• Participate in team activities as needed.

• Become recognized as a 'go-to' person for getting work accomplished efficiently.

Essential Skills

• 1-4 years of experience in CNC operation, with a preference for Lathe operating experience.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of basic mathematics and blueprint reading.

• Understanding of GD&T and proper measuring techniques with various gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience in a job shop is preferred.

• Familiarity with ITAR regulations and handling technical data.

Work Environment

Work in an air-conditioned, extremely clean, and organized facility with first shift hours from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Utilize advanced equipment including turning centers, automated cells, vertical machining centers, wire EDM, and inspection equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lake Zurich, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
