Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the creation of monthly (customer) contract reports including different analyses for required business areas on an international level or for large customers
• Responsibility for ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and encouraging project managers to ensure a clean balance sheet
• Responsibility for creating revenue and cost forecasts for (international) large customers
• Responsibility for reporting and explaining the monthly contract performance for business managers
• Creation and explanation of ad-hoc analyses for business units (business unit) controllers/business managers and CFOs
• Responsibility for providing training materials and instructions for the business on financial topics
• Coordination of activities to support business units (business unit) controllers and business managers in the implementation of (international) large customer account-related initiatives (e.g., roll-out of guidelines)
• Central contact point and escalation instance for the business in financial matters regarding assigned (international) large contracts
• Responsibility for creating analyses to develop the (international) large customer account in collaboration with sales and bid management
• Responsibility for ensuring internal control systems and implementing new required control mechanisms
• Creation of analyses to achieve and optimize financial goals of delivery and involvement in potential follow-up activities
• Responsibility for signing (confirmation) and validating (review) of financial figures
• Responsibility for evaluating the financial performance of contracts in an international context or with large customers

Requirements:

• Completed higher education in finance (master’s degree preferred)
• Extensive professional experience in financial management
• Practical experience in controlling, particularly in the areas of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
