We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee our Southern Region , including Louisville, Cincinnati, and Columbus. This individual will play a critical role in driving growth, developing our sales team, and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will:

• Develop, implement, and execute sales strategies and annual revenue goals for the Southern Region.
• Travel within the region to support Territory Managers with customer visits, prospecting, and securing new orders and preventative maintenance contracts.
• Lead, coach, and manage Territory Managers—providing clear expectations, accountability, and growth opportunities.
• Partner with the Regional Operations Manager to align sales and operations for maximum regional growth.
• Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals (“rocks”) for your team and ensure consistent performance against them.
• Monitor scorecard metrics and proactively address gaps.
• Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews with coaching, goal setting, and performance improvement plans where needed.
• Serve as an escalation point for customer concerns—working with inside sales and engineering teams to ensure quick resolution.
• Oversee management and accuracy of the customer database.
• Regularly collaborate with Territory Managers on lead qualification, customer scheduling, and pipeline development.
• Prepare and submit reports on performance, forecasting, and sales activity in a timely manner.
• Communicate company initiatives and strategy clearly to your team to ensure alignment and execution.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a sales leader who brings both strategic vision and hands-on leadership :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or sales management preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a fast-paced outside sales environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role .
• Industrial equipment sales experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to sell, negotiate, and present effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Southern Region.
