Technical Writer Editor

Supporting federal and contractor teams within a large program management office, the full-time Technical Writer-Editor will provide technical writing, editing, and document management for a law enforcement organization focused on border security technology and operations, working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide technical writing and editing support for documents related to border security technology and operations Develop content for reports, briefings, and presentations tailored to stakeholder needs while adhering to agency style guides Manage documentation workflows and collaborate with authors and subject matter experts to ensure clarity and compliance with agency standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Management, or a related field; 3-10 years of relevant experience Proven technical editing and writing experience, including fact-checking and citation management Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly advanced skills in Word's Track Changes and document formatting Background in marketing, communications, business, or change management Ability to pass a government background investigation; U.S. citizenship required for suitability determination
