Technical Writer/Editor

Collaborating with project managers and subject matter experts, the full-time remote Technical Writer/Editor will research, write, and edit a variety of educational materials for the Veterans Health Administration's National Center for PTSD, ensuring content is clear, accurate, and accessible for diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities Research, write, edit, and revise materials supporting educational video production and public outreach initiatives Translate scientific literature and clinical guidance into plain language content suitable for public audiences Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency of educational content while maintaining a compassionate tone Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, Public Health, or a related discipline Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical writing and editing for healthcare, government, or educational organizations Demonstrated experience producing and editing professional written communications relevant to the role
