Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacist position is available at a community pharmacy located in Knox, IN. This contract role requires a licensed Indiana pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services with a focus on accuracy, safety, and patient care within a retail environment.

Location: Knox, IN (Local candidates only)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescription orders prepared by pharmacy technicians
• Maintain strict security protocols for the pharmacy and controlled substances
• Enter patient information and prescription orders with precision into the order entry system
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Complete a three-day training and orientation prior to starting

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Indiana pharmacist license required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and pharmacy security

• This contract assignment is ongoing starting June 29th until a permanent pharmacist is hired
