A well-established and growing manufacturing company in the Knoxville area is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its procurement team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven background in purchasing, supplier management, and inventory planning. Responsibilities Source and purchase materials, components, and supplies to support production operations Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while evaluating performance Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow Issue and manage purchase orders while tracking deliveries and resolving discrepancies Analyze purchasing data and identify cost-saving opportunities Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and quality standards Qualifications Required: Previous purchasing or buying experience in a manufacturing environment Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Experience with ERP/MRP system Excellent organizational and analytical abilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other business software Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent experience will be considered #J-18808-Ljbffr
