Title: Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) 

Location: Various positions throughout Morris & Essex Counties  

Responsibilities: 

• Offer vital care services such as bathing, grooming and dressing to the given client and follow a personalized care plan depending on their needs and situation 
• Create a comfortable space for the client, while remaining patient and composed. Be their companion and offer emotional support, particularly those with dementia or memory-related conditions. 
• Assist with daily household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy environment.  
• Assist with medications as prescribed and work closely with the client’s nurse when necessary 
• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider, in a timely manner. 
• Create a space where you encourage the clients to have their independence, while adhering to safety standards 
• Consistently Support the clients in engaging in safe daily activities  
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress. 
• Show up in a timely manner and adhere to a professional dress code  

Requirements 

• Current HHA License in the state of NJ 
• Ability to perform all personal care tasks with dignity and always have respect for client privacy. 
• Offer strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. 
• MUST have 3 References (2 Professional, 1 Personal) 
• MUST be able to pass a background check & Drug Test as required by state regulations. 
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations 
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality. 

Compensation: $19-21/hr. (depending upon experience)
