I'm currently looking to speak with Corporate M&A Attorneys interested in joining a leading global law firm with a sophisticated and highly regarded transactional practice in Charleston.

I'm particularly interested in attorneys with 3–5 years of Corporate M&A experience , ideally with exposure to private equity transactions.

Experience should include areas such as:

• Mergers & Acquisitions
• Private Equity Transactions
• Stock Purchase Agreements
• Asset Purchase Agreements
• Letters of Intent
• Partnership Agreements
• Joint Ventures
• LLC Operating Agreements
• Corporate Governance
• General Corporate and Business Matters

The role will involve working closely with experienced corporate lawyers on sophisticated M&A and related transactions, with the opportunity to take on substantial responsibility throughout the lifecycle of a deal.

This will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, managing closings, advising clients on corporate and entity matters, and supporting businesses and investors on a broad range of strategic transactions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–5 years of Corporate M&A experience
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating M&A transaction documents
• Private equity transaction experience would be highly advantageous
• Experience taking meaningful responsibility for M&A closings
• Experience advising clients on general corporate and entity matters
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• A proactive, self-starting approach
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality client service

This is an excellent opportunity for a midlevel corporate associate looking to work on sophisticated transactions within a major international law firm while building their career in the Charleston market.

You'll work closely with experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring, while gaining increasing levels of responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in complex M&A transactions.

Base Compensation: $225,000–$255,000

Final compensation will depend on experience, expertise, and other relevant factors.
