Associate Attorney

We are working with an Award Winning law Firm, looking for an Associate Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 2+ years experience. This role is hybrid. Requirements: 2+ years of experience Open to working for an Insurance Defense firm Previous experience in either; commercial litigation, insurance defense, complex litigation, insurance coverage, personal injury, etc. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in South Carolina Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution. Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients. Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies. Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings The annual salary for this position is between 130k-160k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
