Accountant

Our client is an organization in the Fox Valley area looking for an Accountant . Our client is looking for someone with payroll experience, who has strong analytical skills and is detail oriented. The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries Reconcile bank statements and company accounts Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Prepare full‑cycle payroll. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards Conduct financial audits and support external auditors Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll processing Analyze financial information to identify trends and opportunities for improvement The Accountant will possess the following: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field preferred Accounting or payroll experience preferred.
