Environmental Health Safety Specialist

We’re partnering with a growing chemical manufacturing company backed by private equity and entering a new phase of expansion. As part of that growth, they’re hiring an EHS Officer with a strong focus on environmental compliance. This is a high-impact role built around ownership of environmental programs not a generalist safety position. Key Responsibilities Own environmental compliance across the facility Maintain and update SPCC / DPCC plans Manage regulatory reporting (DEP, EPA, DOT) Interface with regulatory agencies and support audits Oversee hazardous material handling and documentation Maintain compliance data across systems and reporting portals Day-to-Day ~75–80% compliance, reporting, and documentation ~20–25% on the manufacturing floor High ownership, working directly with leadership What We’re Looking For 5+ years of EHS experience with a strong environmental focus Background in chemical manufacturing or similar industry Experience with SPCC, DPCC, or similar programs Familiarity with DEP and/or EPA regulations Experience managing regulatory reporting $110K–$140K base (flexible for strong candidates) #J-18808-Ljbffr Sigil Partners
