Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families aimed at addressing a range of mental health disorders and challenges.

• Employ various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to deliver effective treatment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for all clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and integrity.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor at Mind Care Counseling Center will primarily work with individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Many of our clients come from underserved populations and may encounter barriers to accessing quality mental health services. Your role will be crucial in providing them with the support and guidance they seek in their journey toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon is essential.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, specifically in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in the mental health field.
