Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Gynecology and Genitourinary Procedures

Location: Portland, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, rotating weekends (1:4 schedule).

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 3 years of level 1 trauma experience to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at a Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise as a CST, exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomy's, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomy's, Cystectomy's, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopy's, and Ureteroscopy's.
• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and maintain a sterile environment.
• Work with a diverse patient population across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Required Experience / Certifications:

• A minimum of 3 years as a Certified Surgical Technologist with level 1 trauma experience.
• Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) is required.
• Experience with General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma, and additional specialties is preferred.
