Reno Staffing is looking for a Production Supervisor for a new manufacturing facility in the Sparks area!

Join a growing manufacturing operation and play a key role in building a high-performing production team. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, support employee development, and help drive operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new facility with opportunities for growth as the company continues to expand.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Must be flexible)
Pay: 70K
Location: Sparks, NV 89431

Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, leading production associates and material handlers, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. This position works closely with production planning and plant leadership to drive productivity, maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Lead, motivate, and support production associates and material handlers.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training opportunities for production staff.
• Monitor productivity rates and product standards to ensure operational goals are achieved.
• Implement and support quality control programs and initiatives.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect products and processes to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Work closely with plant leadership to implement company policies and operational goals.
• Collaborate with production planning and other supervisors to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve issues that may impact production schedules or cause delays.
• Track production performance and communicate updates to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you could be required to perform additional job-related activities not specifically outlined above.

Competency:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to adapt to changing production demands and business needs.

A resume with relevant supervisory and manufacturing experience is required. Qualified candidates will be scheduled for an interview with the client upon consideration.
