Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Comprehensive Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to understand students’ needs and create individualized treatment plans that adhere to established best practices and solution-based interventions.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailoring your approach based on each student’s unique circumstances and preferences.

• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational guidelines, ensuring that every student's journey is tracked effectively.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a team of educators, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and optimize the support network for students.

• Case Consultations: Engage in regular peer consultations and case reviews to share insights and maintain a high standard of care.

• Education and Support: Provide guidance and resources to both students and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Professional Development: Stay informed about current research and advancements within the mental health field, applying this knowledge to enhance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within a school environment requiring mental health support. This role involves working closely with diverse populations, including children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your compassionate approach and tailored interventions will help guide these young individuals toward resilience and success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington State.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly providing psychotherapy services to children or adolescents.

• Proven knowledge and application of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to navigate complex situations efficiently.

• A commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development, in alignment with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
