Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - PCU Location: Kansas City, MO Start: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12s (06:45 PM–07:15 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Requirements: Minimum 2 years of PCU experience Experience with 1:5 patient ratios ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required Experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, and PCU/Stepdown Experience i nterpreting and managing dysrhythmias Experience with cardiac drips and IV insulin protocols Experience with post-MI, cardiac cath, cardiac surgery, and angiogram patients Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and wound care Epic experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Additional: Float required between Med/Surg, Telemetry, Medical-Intermediate, and ED holding as needed 8 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period Holiday and possible Charge RN assignments as needed No block scheduling Maximum 7 days of RTO Local candidates not accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted Auto Offer position 3418416 About Bestica We are a trusted provider of solutions in Information Technology and Healthcare sectors to the DoD, Federal and Commercial markets.
