Operations Leader Opportunity

Our client, a global market leader in industrial equipment and engineering solutions, is seeking a hands-on operational leader to build the organizational infrastructure required to support the next phase of growth in North America. The Company is headquartered in Denmark. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established international organization that combines entrepreneurial spirit with long-term stability. Currently a small but growing North American organization. The company is now looking for a senior operations leader who can help scale the business, build the team and the operational foundation required for future growth.

This is not a traditional corporate VP Operations role. Rather, it is a leadership position for someone who enjoys building organizations, improving operational flow, developing people, and creating structures that enable growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing strategy in the boardroom, reviewing processes with the administration team, and solving practical operational challenges alongside team members.

What You Will Do

• Partner closely with the CEO and the EVP of Sales to support the continued growth and development of the U.S. organization.
• Build scalable processes, workflows, and accountability across Engineering, Service, Administration, and supporting business functions.
• Improve communication, visibility, and operational execution across the organization.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions that support growth and operational efficiency.
• Develop operational metrics, reporting structures, and management tools that support informed decision-making.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members and leaders across the organization.
• Help build the infrastructure required to support future geographic expansion and additional locations.
• Serve as a trusted resource and escalation point for operational challenges.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders in both North America and Europe.

What You Bring

• Experience building scalable processes, workflows, and accountability across Engineering, Service, Administration, and supporting business functions.
• Ability to gain credibility quickly, build strong relationships, and create commitment around new ways of working.
• You can identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions that support growth and operational efficiency.
• Comfortable working within a collaborative international organization where influence, trust, and partnership are often more important than hierarchy.
• An organized and systematic approach to scheduling tasks and managing a team, to achieve high-quality on-time results.
• Technical expertise is appreciated but is not the primary success factor for this role. The ability to create structure, improve execution, and lead people is more important than deep engineering specialization.

What Success Looks Like

First 6 Months

• Build strong relationships across the organization.
• Gain a deep understanding of current operations, processes, and organizational challenges.
• Establish credibility with employees, customers, and leadership.
• Identify key opportunities for process improvement and organizational alignment.
• Start strengthening the team through targeted hiring and employee training.

Within 12 Months

• Implement meaningful operational improvements that increase operational transparency, accountability, and performance.
• Improve coordination and communication across departments.
• Introduce scalable processes and tools that support future growth.
• Reduce operational bottlenecks and improve organizational effectiveness.
• Become a trusted operational partner to the CEO and leadership team.

Within 24 Months

• Establish the operational foundation required to support future expansion and additional locations.
• Strengthen leadership capability, accountability, and organizational alignment.
• Position the organization to successfully support the next phase of growth in North America.
