Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments, utilizing standardized tools and interviews, to identify mental health challenges and strengths in students and their families.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of individuals, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, establishing a trusting rapport with clients to encourage open communication and promote healing.

• Collaborate with educators and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and provide insights on students’ mental health and its impact on learning.

• Maintain meticulous client records and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops and supervision, to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics affecting their schooling. You will play a pivotal role in destigmatizing mental health within the school environment and equipping students with tools to manage their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient setting.
