About the Position

Job Title: Procedure Center RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute or outpatient care, with general surgery experience required. License: RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS required. Must-Have: - EMR experience verified. - Experience working with pediatric patients, with adults on rare occasions. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Description: The Procedure Center RN will work in a dynamic outpatient surgery unit. Candidates must possess general surgery experience and strong EMR skills. ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are necessary for this role. The RN will provide care for pediatric patients aged 1 day to 24 years, with occasional adult care. The role requires participation in call duties, working 5 weekdays and 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Experience with minor surgical cases in ENT, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, and oncology is preferred. Candidates should have strong skills in a fast-paced environment and be willing to train in endoscopy if needed. The RN will be involved in documentation using the designated charting system.
