Job Description

Filler Operator Pay: $20.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm

Location: Homewood, IL

Responsibilities

Operate filling, labeling, and packaging equipment.
Fill containers according to batch specifications and production schedules.
Use a scale to verify product information, fill weights, labels, and packaging accuracy.
Inspect finished products for quality and compliance.
Complete production documentation and batch records.
Clean equipment and maintain a safe, organized work area.
Assist with material handling and movement of finished goods.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
Experience in ink, paint, chemical, or liquid manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Skills

Material Handler

Experience with fillers, forklifts, drums, and batch sheets
Knowledge of safety and quality standards
Mechanical skills and attention to detail
