Director of Business Development, Language Solutions

IQVIA seeks a Director of Strategic Business Development to lead net-new revenue growth for Language Solutions across EMEA markets. This senior role combines enterprise sales leadership with responsibility for building a pipeline among pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and CRO customers, leveraging IQVIA's clinical and regulatory expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed annual net-new bookings and revenue targets across assigned EMEA territory or account portfolio
• Build qualified pipeline through strategic prospecting, stakeholder discovery and territory planning
• Lead consultative sales cycles from qualification through proposal, negotiation, contracting and delivery handoff
• Develop executive relationships and position Language Solutions as strategic partner for workflow integration and compliance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with presales, delivery, technology and finance to create viable, commercially sound solutions

Requirements

• Proven track record achieving net-new revenue targets in enterprise business development or strategic sales
• Experience selling to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, CRO or healthcare organizations
• Localization, multilingual content, or regulated-content expertise strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through close
• Consultative selling expertise and credibility influencing senior executive stakeholders
• Commercial acumen in proposals, pricing, negotiation, contracts and forecast management
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel within Europe and internationally
