About the Position

Job Description: ICU Float Requirements: - California RN License - BLS (AHA) - ACLS - NIHSS - 4 years of experience required in ICU Shift: 3 x 12 Day/Night Rotation as needed. 0700-1930/1900-0730; no on call - weekend rotation required; float required as needed *CPMC RN will be a true full float position- CPMC Van Ness, CPMC Mission Bernal, CPMC Davies.* Each campus is about 15 minutes from each other, and there is a shuttle transport across the campuses. It will be very rare that a traveler will float mid shift. They may be scheduled at a different campus for each shift though. Travelers will be notified 2 hours prior to their start time where they should report to. Additional Role Expectations: Provide close monitoring and timely interventions for critically ill patients, recognizing and escalating changes in condition. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and follow applicable unit protocols. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain professional communication, and follow all applicable patient-safety, infection-prevention, and documentation standards.
