The position requires a California RN License along with current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU setting, with 4 years preferred. The role involves managing critical care patients and supporting a high acuity unit. Key skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, and central line care. Experience with trauma care is required. This position entails rotating weekend shifts and floating as needed to meet unit demands. Patient ratios are maintained at a safe level to ensure high-quality care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
