About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years in ICU required; 4 years preferred License: California RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience preferred Description: The position requires a registered nurse with extensive ICU experience. Candidates must hold a valid California RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. NIHSS certification is also required. A minimum of three years of ICU experience is necessary. Preference will be given to candidates with four years of experience. The shift for this position is three 12-hour night shifts. Weekend rotation is required for this role. The nurse will float as needed within designated areas. The nurse will be responsible for managing various critical care scenarios. Skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, and titrating cardiac drips are essential. Interdisciplinary support from various services will be provided. Candidates should be familiar with electronic charting systems. Integrity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills are vital for this position.
