Remote IT Specialist: Network & Security Pro

Position: IT Specialist Job Type: (Remote) Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to all employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network connectivity, and printer problems Install and maintain computer systems, networks, and other related equipment Monitor and maintain the company's network and server infrastructure Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and efficient use of resources Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and requirements Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations Manage user accounts and permissions, as well as software licenses Train employees on new technologies and software applications as needed Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the real estate industry Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the company's website and online presence Provide timely and effective technical support to remote employees Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role Strong knowledge of network and server infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and virtualization Experience with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and other cloud-based applications Familiarity with website maintenance and content management systems Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery procedures Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus If you are a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for technology and a strong background in IT support, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
