Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess individual needs and guide treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment programs based on physician referrals and patient progress.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring all patient interactions are positive and informative.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.
• Perform skilled therapeutic care, either onsite or via home health visits, to facilitate recovery in alignment with physician directives.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, rehabilitation techniques, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health.
• Achieve minimum utilization standards and contribute to the facility's overall operational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will be treating a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. This variety ensures that your practice remains dynamic and engaging while you contribute significantly to the lives of individuals recovering from a spectrum of injuries and conditions. You'll work closely with patients ranging from young athletes to elderly individuals seeking to regain mobility.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in word processing and using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, particularly with sports-related injuries.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines and rehabilitation protocols.
