Legal Administrative Assistant

Silver Law PLC

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Legal Assistant to support our attorney and assist with the daily operations of a busy law office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner Schedule client consultations, appointments, and meetings Greet clients and visitors and provide excellent customer service Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, legal documents, and client letters Maintain and organize physical and electronic client files File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies as needed Manage calendars, deadlines, and attorney scheduling Open, scan, distribute, and organize incoming mail and documents Communicate with clients regarding appointments, document requests, and case updates as directed by the attorney Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Assist with general office administration and other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or legal studies coursework preferred Prior legal assistant, administrative assistant, or office experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience in a law office environment Familiarity with legal terminology and legal document preparation Experience with case management software(Timeslips) #J-18808-Ljbffr Silver Law PLC
