VP of Customer Success & Adoption

For our client, we are seeking a VP Of Customer Success & Adoption to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment. Location: Santa Clara, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $360,000 – $380,000 annually Responsibilities Own overall customer adoption and time-to-value metrics Drive net revenue retention and identify expansion opportunities Build comprehensive customer success playbooks Evaluate and enhance current customer success tools and analytics Engage deeply with important accounts as a trusted advisor Develop systems to reduce churn and recover at-risk accounts Provide customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams Lead the hiring and development of a customer success team as the function scales Qualifications 12+ years in customer success, with at least 6+ years in leadership roles Experience building and scaling a customer success function, preferably in a startup environment Proven track record of improving net revenue retention and reducing churn Strong commercial instincts for identifying and closing expansion opportunities Experience in coaching and developing team members Data fluency for making informed decisions based on usage data and customer health signals Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create processes from scratch Exceptional communication skills for engaging with both executive sponsors and day-to-day users Benefits Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Flexible work environment and remote work options Professional development opportunities Equity options for team members Enhanced parental leave policies Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
