Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, you will:

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions to address relationship issues and family conflicts.

• Provide education and resources to families regarding mental health practices and coping strategies.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on topics like communication skills, grief, and addiction recovery.

• Continuously assess client progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Document all therapy sessions and treatments in a thorough and timely manner, maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate care for patients with overlapping physical and psychological needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a varied client population, including adults, adolescents, and families navigating issues such as:

• Experiences of abuse and trauma, both physical and mental.

• Grief and loss.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts, including sibling rivalry and communication breakdowns.

• Challenges related to blending families and adjusting to remarriage.

• Stress stemming from workplace dynamics and health conditions.

• Transitioning through and coping with separation or divorce.

Qualifications\n

To be a part of our team, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A valid state-issued LMFT license to provide therapeutic services.

Preferred Experience\n
