Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations that involve reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and developing actionable recommendations based on individual patient needs.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and tailored treatment plans to both patients and their families, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations for recovery.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in executing treatment protocols that are responsive to specific evaluation outcomes and each patient's unique condition.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to modify care plans based on real-time evaluations of patient progress, and when necessary, escalate cases for medical consultations.
• Manage discharge planning processes and follow-up care, ensuring comprehensive documentation that includes initial evaluations, daily notes, and final discharge assessments.
• Exhibit strong time management skills, meeting productivity benchmarks while maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to patient care and scheduling.
• Contribute actively to departmental goals, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Engage in continuous education initiatives and serve as a mentor to physical therapy students or interns when applicable.
• Foster a patient-centered approach that enhances customer experience and improves access to therapy services within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your clinical expertise will be vital in assessing needs, developing personalized rehabilitation strategies, and evaluating progress toward functional independence. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits
