Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and nurture a positive and trusting rapport with patients to encourage open communication during therapy sessions.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, taking into consideration each client's unique circumstances and histories.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, continuously adapting as necessary to ensure optimal progress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to provide effective therapeutic interventions.

• Regularly meet with patients to monitor their progress, adjusting treatment plans and approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, referring clients to specialists or resources as required to provide comprehensive care.

• Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress accurately in our electronic health records (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.

The ideal candidate will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. You will provide therapeutic support in a safe and nurturing environment, helping clients navigate their emotional and psychological struggles.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Specialized training or experience in substance abuse counseling is preferred.

• Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practices, particularly concerning addiction and co-occurring disorders.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to motivate clients towards achieving their goals.

• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for effective teamwork.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient settings, with a focus on family therapy and group dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
