Human Resources and Payroll Specialist

Advanced IPM is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As one of the fastest-growing family-owned pest control companies in the U.S., Advanced IPM offers a friendly, fast-paced, and supportive work environment. The Payroll Specialist will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, supporting our operations, and contributing to the overall success of our team. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our corporate office in Roseville, CA, with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. 

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for 200+ employees accurately and on schedule
• Submit certified payroll through the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and third-party sites
• Utilize payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Maintain detailed and organized payroll records
• Support various administrative functions within the Human Resources department
• Collaborate with team members and provide assistance as needed
• Communicate effectively with employees and management regarding payroll matters

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience processing payroll for 200+ employees
• At least 5 years of experience submitting certified payroll through DIR and third-party sites
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic
• Team-oriented and willing to assist where needed
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
