Staff Accountant Full-time Regular Professional Minnesota, Golden Valley, MN, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1764 Salary: $55,000.00 Annually GURSTEL LAW FIRM, P.C. – Staff Accountant Job Summary As a Staff Accountant , you will apply principals of accounting and you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to: Prepare, analyze, review, and send required clients reports. Maintain client accounts by verifying proper funds have been pushed and pulled. Monitor review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness. Application of consumer payments Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company’s automated financial systems. Research, review, apply, all incoming checks promptly and accurately. Always inform management of any issues, concerns, developments, updates, discrepancies, questions, etc. Responsible for maintaining checks with unresolved issues and reporting these issues to the appropriate individual. Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Other Duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Verbal and written communication skills a must. Experience with basic office hardware a must; scanners, fax machine, copiers, etc. 50+ words-per-minute typing. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required. Must be a quick learner with good written and problem-solving skills. A dependable work ethic and commitment to providing quality service is an absolute.
