Job Title : Direct Care Worker (D.C.W)

Join our compassionate team at Familiar Roads Home Healthcare, where we provide essential, person-centered care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Direct Care Worker (DCW), you will assist clients with daily activities that promote dignity, comfort, and independence in their homes.

Applicants must meet the following Pennsylvania state and agency requirements:

• Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standards

• Current CPR Certification

• Recent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the last 12 months) — QuantiFERON-TB Gold or equivalent accepted

• Proof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) years

• Two (2) Valid Professional References

• Clear Criminal Background Check

• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently

• Neat appearance and practices good personal hygiene

• Assist with bathing (bed, tub, or shower), grooming, and dressing

• Oral hygiene and toileting assistance

• Meal preparation and feeding support

• Light housekeeping and laundry tasks

• Mobility assistance and safety monitoring

• Medication reminders (non-clinical)

• Report changes in client condition to the supervisor

• Flexible scheduling options (day/evening/weekend shifts)

• Bi-Weekly pay

• Paid orientation and ongoing training

• Supportive team environment
