About This Role

Shining Stars Academy is a privately owned, family-oriented preschool seeking a passionate, reliable, Toddler Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced, confident, nurturing early childhood professional who understands the unique needs of children ages 3 years old and can provide consistency, structure, and engaging learning experiences in a toddler classroom. If you have experience in a childcare center and are passionate about helping young children grow through play, routines, and meaningful interactions, we would love to meet you!

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday... either 6:30am to 3:30pm or 8:45am to 5:45pm.
• Pay: $40,000-$45,000 annually depending on verified classroom experience, education, and credentials. Experienced lead teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Language Requirement: Fully English (Bilingual English/Spanish preferred)

What We’re Looking For

• Prior childcare or early childhood experience **MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE**
• Reliable, punctual, and fully present at work
• Professional, positive, and energetic
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs throughout the day
• Willing to follow all state licensing and school policies

What You'll Do

• Create a safe, nurturing, clean, and engaging learning environment
• Support daily routines
• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Communicate professionally with families at drop-off and pick-up
• Document daily activities and child progress for parents
• Work collaboratively with your co-teachers
• Assist with diapering, pottying, cleaning, meal prep, and classroom care
• Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings

Requirements

MUST have one of the below in accordance with Round Rock ISD Partnership:

• EC-6 Texas Teaching Certification
• BA or BS in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential + 2 years of experience in a high-quality TRS or nationally accredited center
• 8 years of experience in a high-quality TRS or nationally accredited center
• Montessori Certification + 2 years of experience in a high-quality TRS or nationally accredited center
