Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing factors such as symptom severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs and experiences.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions that target mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to enhance mental well-being.

• Track and monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to therapeutic approaches to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care aimed at holistic mental health support.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to provide the best care possible to clients.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Queens Cove, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and experiences. You will play a critical role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health challenges and work towards recovery and sustained wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
