Scientist - HPLC

$24.32 - $34 per hour

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a scientist to perform analytical testing and sample preparation for biopharmaceutical product development. The role involves operating liquid handling systems, conducting protein assays, and managing laboratory data while supporting bioprocess development under senior supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform sample preparation and analytical assays including affinity chromatography, SEC, CEX, CE-SDS, and icIEF
Operate liquid handling systems for high-throughput sample purification and preparation
Document data acquisition and results in electronic lab notebooks
Coordinate sample submission and manage incoming samples from bioprocess development colleagues
Support laboratory operations including consumable ordering and instrument maintenance coordination

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic qualification
2–4 years relevant experience in analytical or laboratory settings
Proficiency with Hamilton Robotics and biopharmaceutical testing techniques
Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
Technical writing and data interpretation abilities
LIMS or Empower software experience preferred

Compensation: $24.32–$34.00 hourly
