Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental and emotional health to develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques aligned with Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation to guide sessions and treatment plans.
\n
• Provide individual therapy sessions addressing various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
\n
• Facilitate couples therapy to enhance communication, conflict resolution, and relationship satisfaction.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to tailor treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and regularly review these plans for adjustments based on client progress.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Work cohesively with interdisciplinary teams to offer comprehensive care, coordinating with other health professionals as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.

• Stay abreast of developments in the field of marriage and family therapy through continued education and professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, promoting their empowerment and informed decision-making in their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied client base, including adolescents grappling with developmental challenges, adults navigating life transitions or mental health disorders, and couples seeking to improve their relationships. Your role will be vital in helping clients build resilience, enhance communication skills, and foster healthy relationships, thereby contributing to their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals and couples is essential.

• Proficient communication and writing skills, along with the ability to learn and operate electronic health record systems effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with children and adolescents, in addition to adults, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
