Aurora Bliss Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our experienced team. In this full-time remote role, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive mental health services that empower individuals to overcome their challenges and enhance their emotional well-being. Your expertise as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider (LPC/MHSP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will enable you to foster positive therapeutic relationships and support clients in achieving their goals.

As a fully remote Community Health Clinic, you will work from the comfort of your home, connecting with clients through secure video conferencing and telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional well-being, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs, objectives, and challenges.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual counseling, family therapy, and group therapy, employing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services to clients whenever needed, assessing risk and providing support in acute situations.

• Maintain organized and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards set forth by licensing boards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest advances in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in one of the following: LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a thorough understanding of mental health disorders.
